Description:
The Web Application Developer will participate in all aspects of ongoing development for the consumer web site and associated web applications. You will work closely with senior Java architects and database engineers to design and implement new site features and execute client and partner integrations. Most work will be targeted to our Open Source Java/JSP/Resin/Postgres environment on Linux.
Technical Skills:
-5+ years of Java development
-3+ years of Web Application Development
-Agile
Pluses:
-high traffic website experience
-Open Source technologies
The individual must be a self-starter and able to prosper in a relatively unstructured work environment. Experience in working in a fast-paced high growth environment is also highly desirable. The individual must value working in a closely-knit team environment where they will work relatively independently, but in close cooperation with personnel from the technical and product management teams.
