A North Shore based SAAS company who provides a paperless workflow solutions for tax preparers is looking for a Java Architect. The company has a suite of products that automates the time-consuming tasks of gathering, organizing, and populating client data into leading tax applications.
Responsibilities include:
•Enhance existing web application that is based on JSF,XHTML and JCR deployed on JBOSS with web-server clustering
•Expand existing web services communication with various tax software preparation packages
•Optimize web pages to support faster access and high volumes
Candidate should have the following qualifications:
•Excellent programming skills in JAVA, JSF, PHP, GWT, CSS, JavaScript and UML modeling
•Experience with JBOSS, TOMCAT, APACHE servers and POSTGRES database
•Experience with large scale testing of web applications
•Experience in Joomla, Drupal or Jboss Portal is a plus
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight timelines
•Willingness to learn new and existing code
•Strong problem solving and analytical skills
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
